Need a copywriter?
I help businesses define their value, connect with customers, and increase sales.
Whatever your project, whatever the length, I'd love to work with you.
By day, I work as a senior copywriter at a marketing agency. My career began as the in-house copywriter at the headquarters of one of the biggest lawn care companies in the U.S, where I learned to substitute my flowery, literary fiction style for the more structured and concise corporate tone. This was a great learning experience that today allows me to work with a wide array of clients as a freelance copywriter, always shifting the style to best serve what my client needs.
Whether you need the gentle, romantic tone of a wedding photographer or the concise, professional tone of a law firm; whether you need a blog post or an author bio; I will always craft my copy to best serve your needs.
"I'm a wedding and lifestyle photographer and I reached out to Noni to help me polish up different sections of my website to help me get my message out to my clients in a better way.
She completely exceeded my expectations by not only being my voice but also hitting at the core of what the significance of my work is, and why that's important for my clients. Noni is talented beyond what I've seen and she will elevate your website content better. Look no further!"

What my clients say about me:
What do I charge?
My rate is $0.5/word to $0.8/word, depending on the level of research required for the project. So, for example, I would charge between $250 to $400 for a 500-word blog post.
What is my copywriting process?
You reach out to me with the project you'd like to work on. We discuss it, and if we both feel that we'd like to continue to work together, I'll draft and send you a contract outlining everything we've discussed along with an invoice. I'll then wait for a 50 percent deposit to begin working. Turnaround time is always discussed on a case by case basis and, once agreed to by both parties, will also appear on the contract.
I will then research, write, and edit the first draft which I will promptly share with you. I'll await your notes and, if necessary, conduct a second edit based on your comments about the initial draft. The second draft is the final draft and any additional work after that I will charge for at the original rate.
The balance of your invoice is due 14 days after you receive the final, completed work.
Are you looking for an Editor?
I can help with that too. This service is perfect if you already have content that you think could benefit from a second, critical set of eyes. I can help you update old blog posts, revamp website content or edit entire manuscripts. At this point, I offer only two types of edits:
Copy Editing + Proofreading:
The purpose of a copy edit is to make your writing read better while maintaining its intended message and tone. This type of editing enhances the style and flow of the work. I do this by rephrasing where appropriate, eliminating unnecessary words, and swopping words in/out as needed to increase clarity. This obviously also includes the more basic edits like grammar, punctuation, spelling, and basic fact-checking. All this together works to elevate the quality of the entire piece. Please keep in mind that this is not a developmental edit, I will not be fixing deeper issues such as structure, pacing, substantive changes, plot holes and character development (in the case of a manuscript), etc.
Proofreading:
This is the final step that comes right before publication, proofreading is the last line of defense against errors. At this stage, I don't fix your content- I simply correct any errors I see. These errors include missing and/ or misspelled words, punctuation, numbering- this step is often described as cosmetic or topical. Please keep in mind, if you give me bad writing and ask for a proofread, what I give you back will still be bad writing, but it will be clean. This service is only worth it if the work in question has already gone through an intensive edit.
